Genre - Historical Romance
The category of the book and the old 1945 picture on the cover can be a bit misleading, but rest assured this is a romance novel. It is quite a good, light read.
Victoria Teglia, after her stint in the navy during the war, has opened a restaurant once owned by her father who mixed with the underworld. Her father died when she was 3 years old and Victoria who had not known the true facts about her father’s history, opened The Maltese for the elite. Who knows what will crawl out of the woodwork?
