A must read before her next book published HUNTING EVE, available for sale July 16, 2013. Her 7 year old daughter was taken and murdered, and whilst Eve has moved on she has not forgotten Bonnie as she begins her journey into peace.

However, this is not the case. Eve is captured and has to recreate a face of a father’s son who was shot, and whom Eve thinks the head as being a very evil force. She exposes a dark past of the son and is reluctant to recreate the likeness, but is under dire threat and kept prisoner by the father. Just as you think she may be able to escape, you are left in the lurch to wait for the next book HUNTING EVE.

Good thriller and keeps you on your toes.

At the young age of 11, Catherine Ling was abandoned on the streets in Hong Kong and her survival was not easy. She befriended a man known as Hu Chang who was very skilled in potions and particularly poisons. Hu Chang takes her under his wing and tutors her. Hu Chang’s reputation as a Master Poisoner (good and bad) is enigmatic and he has the tendency to turn up without people being aware of his intentions. Catherine has an 11yo son Luke and both end up being targets to get to Hu Chang who also befriended Luke.

A very good read with plenty of philosophy and digress as to what the real essence of the poison is about.

All this is tied to Eve’s past with her daughter Bonnie’s disappearance and demise which still haunts Eve. Eve’s mother Sandra finally reveals who Beth is, and Eve is completely shocked at the outcome.

Time and a very dangerous route are ahead and gives the reader one powerful storyline that is a must for anyone who has read Johansen. Particularly, if you have read her last 3 books in Quinn, Bonnie and Beth this book follows on more easily with the past history of these 3 writes.

This is the third from the series of QUINN, EVE and now BONNIE. It is important that you read these books in order as it brings you up to date in a more realistic read. However, the story can be picked up without reference.

A great read if you are into Iris Johansen, with plenty of thrills involving Eve, whose daughter Bonnie disappeared at aged 7 and her now husband, Joe Quinn and friend Catherine Ling who are both CIA agents.

Left you wondering if her husband Quinn will survive.
